This family pleasing pasta dish is quick and easy enough to make any night of the week.
Cook pasta in 4-quart saucepan according to package directions. Drain; return to saucepan. Keep warm.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until sizzling; add broccoli. Cook, stirring occasionally, 4-5 minutes or until crisply tender.
Place whipping cream and remaining butter in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted. Stir in Parmesan cheese 5-6 minutes or until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
Pour Parmesan sauce over pasta; add broccoli, chicken, bacon and garlic salt. Gently stir until well mixed.
Spoon into serving dish. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.

I make this a while back and it has become a family favorite! I have made it numerous times and it is always a popular request for dinner! Everyone loves it!

This dish is totally awesome! I can't wait to eat the leftovers the next day. It is so quick and easy to make it's almost sinful. I tried it with shrimp cooked in the bacon drippings, and it turned out great also. Next time I am going to try cooking the shrimp in a couple tablespoons of Land O'Lakes butter. Hope you try and enjoy this recipe as much as I did/do.
Oh My! This is a keeper! My husband (who's basically "meh" on pasta dishes) LOVED this! Now every time I make bacon, he asks if I'm going to make that "pasta thing with the bacon"So easy ! Win for me!

There are only two of us so I halved the recipe. We liked it very much, but we both like it saucier, so when I make it again, I will half the main ingredients, but I'll keep the sauce as is.
I made this recipe without the chicken and added a little more bacon since my husband won't eat chicken and we both loved it. When I make it for others I will use chicken and just scoop some out for my husband before I add the chicken. Will definitely add to our favorites.

I this today to the T (except(substituted turkey bacon for regular bacon)) and had a few extras of the ingredients called for but the sauce. I like the sauce a lot. But it needs some salt I think(just a little-Im not some salt freak lol) But when I reheat this yummy dish for leftovers I will add some more of the bacon and some more sauce yes. I have to note that by not adding the real bacon, i may have compromised some of the flavor that turkey bacon does not offer but that was OK with me as I try to stay away from as much pork as I can!...Beautiful dish and had a great time making it as I didn't find myself lost in the process hehe...hope everyone enjoys as my husband and I did:)thank you again!
This recipe was very good- I didn't have any cream so I just made a roux and used milk instead. You could definitely play with the flavors and add some herbs to make this more exciting; it's a pretty basic recipe that allows for flexibility. Will keep this in my recipe book.
