This family pleasing pasta dish is quick and easy enough to make any night of the week.
Cook pasta in 4-quart saucepan according to package directions. Drain; return to saucepan. Keep warm.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until sizzling; add broccoli. Cook, stirring occasionally, until crisply tender (4 to 5 minutes).
Meanwhile, place whipping cream and 1/4 cup butter in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth (5 to 6 minutes). Remove from heat.
Pour Parmesan sauce over pasta; add broccoli, chicken, bacon and garlic salt. Gently stir until well mixed. Spoon into serving dish. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.

I made this recipe after the recommendation of my mom and WOW..... it is wonderful!!! I made a double batch and all it needed was salt!!! Loved it, new regular dinner at my house for sute!!

I this today to the T (except(substituted turkey bacon for regular bacon)) and had a few extras of the ingredients called for but the sauce. I like the sauce a lot. But it needs some salt I think(just a little-Im not some salt freak lol) But when I reheat this yummy dish for leftovers I will add some more of the bacon and some more sauce yes. I have to note that by not adding the real bacon, i may have compromised some of the flavor that turkey bacon does not offer but that was OK with me as I try to stay away from as much pork as I can!...Beautiful dish and had a great time making it as I didn't find myself lost in the process hehe...hope everyone enjoys as my husband and I did:)thank you again!
This recipe was very good- I didn't have any cream so I just made a roux and used milk instead. You could definitely play with the flavors and add some herbs to make this more exciting; it's a pretty basic recipe that allows for flexibility. Will keep this in my recipe book.
