Maple syrup and apples add a touch of sweetness to pork chops.

This has become one of my favourite recipes - the combination of apples and onions complements pork perfectly. My only quibble is that it's too sweet; however, I cut the maple syrup in half (using 1/4 cup instead of 1/2 cup) and it turned out just the way I wanted, sweet but not too sweet.
This was exquisite! I added red peppers to the mixture and a hint of honey. and I used the land o lakes garlic & herb butter.....It was to die for.
Perfect! How good to be able to follow a recipe and it come out as pictured and the taste was wonderful. (Might use less sweet syrup next time, though)
we loved this meal. i used sugarfree syrup and a little less onion and it was excellent
I love all your recipes. You're a breath of fresh air. Most importantly,you aren't a continuous broken record chatterbox. I gave up watching lowcut v neck wanna be glamorous chefs. You're down to earth and your recipes are delicious and oh so simple to make.
I enjoyed this recipe. Next time, I'd probably use a little less maple syrup, it was a little too sweet for my taste, but still very good. Very tender pork chops and loved the flavor of the apples.
