BBQ Beef & Bacon Turnovers
Refrigerated pizza crust makes these hot & hearty sandwiches easy to make and perfect for dinner.

2 tablespoons water
5 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 medium (1/2 cup) onion, chopped
1/3 cup barbecue sauce
1 (13.8-ounce) tube refrigerated pizza crust dough
Sesame seed, if desire
Heat oven to 375°F. Combine egg and water in small bowl; beat with fork until frothy. Set aside. Grease baking sheet; set aside.
Place bacon in 10-inch nonstick skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp (4 to 6 minutes). Remove bacon with slotted spoon to paper towel; set aside.
Place ground beef and onion in same skillet. Cook over medium heat until beef is no longer pink (6 to 8 minutes). Drain; stir in cooked bacon and barbecue sauce. Remove from heat; cool about 20 minutes.
Unroll pizza crust dough on clean working surface; press into 15x10-inch rectangle. Cut into 6 (5-inch) squares. Place diagonal pieces of cheese so points are 1/2 inch from 1 corner of each dough square. Top cheese with 1/4 cup meat mixture; spread over cheese. Fold half of dough over to form triangle; pinch edges to seal tightly. Place onto prepared baking sheet; crimp edges firmly with fork.
Brush dough with egg mixture; sprinkle with sesame seed, if desired. Bake for 17 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
To crimp, press tines of fork firmly over seams of dough so filling will not leak out during baking.
