As a busy mother and grandmother, Cindy understands the importance of convenient meals and a well-stocked pantry, as well as the enjoyment that goes into spending time in the kitchen with little ones. Refrigerated pizza crust makes these hot & hearty sandwiches easy to make and perfect for dinner.
Heat oven to 375°F.
Combine egg and water in bowl; beat with fork until frothy. Set aside. Grease baking sheet; set aside.
Place bacon in 10-inch nonstick skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 4-6 minutes or until crisp. Remove bacon with slotted spoon to paper towel; set aside.
Place ground beef and onion into same skillet. Cook over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Drain; stir in cooked bacon and barbecue sauce. Remove from heat; cool about 20 minutes.
Unroll pizza crust dough on clean working surface; press into 15x10-inch rectangle. Cut into 6 (5-inch) squares. Place diagonal pieces of cheese so points are 1/2 inch from 1 corner of each dough square. Top cheese with 1/4 cup meat mixture; spread over cheese. Fold half of dough over to form triangle; pinch edges to seal tightly. Place onto prepared baking sheet; crimp edges firmly with fork.
Brush dough with egg mixture; sprinkle with sesame seed, if desired. Bake for 17 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
