Crushed, crisp oatmeal cookies are the topping for this "new style" version of an old-fashioned peach dessert.
Heat oven to 375°F. Combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon in small bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cookie pieces.
Place peaches in ungreased 9-inch pie plate; sprinkle topping over fruit. Bake for 16 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
*Substitute 6 crisp chocolate chip cookies (3/4 cup), broken.
**Substitute 2 (15-ounce) cans sliced peaches, drained.
