1 cup all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, cut into large pieces
1 (5-ounce) container (about 1 1/4 cups) crumbled blue cheese
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon buttermilk or milk
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Heat oven to 350ºF. Line baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside.

Combine all ingredients in food processor bowl fitted with metal blade. Process until mixture forms a dough. Wrap dough in plastic food wrap; refrigerate 30 minutes.

Roll out dough, on lightly floured surface, into 16x8-inch rectangle. Cut lengthwise into two (4-inch) strips. Cut crosswise into 1/2-inch wide strips. Place onto prepared baking sheet.

Bake 8-10 minutes or until straws are golden brown around edges. Cool completely.

Recipe Tip

This recipe is very easy to mix into a smooth dough when using a food processor. If you do not have a food processor, use hand mixer or mix dough by hand.

Recipe Comments & Reviews

So easy to make. Good blue cheese flavor. I made dough in advance, froze, and baked later. Agree with previous reviewer and go with 375 degrees, possibly 400.
This was delicious and easy. Even those who usually shun blue cheese liked them. I froze half of the dough and baked it later. I found they browned better at 375 degrees.
What beautiful dough this is! So easy to roll and work with. The rosemary is not overpowering. Just delicious! Thanks for a great recipe.
