This updated version of a classic fried rice side dish is faster than getting takeout.
Melt Sauté Express® squares in 12-inch skillet over medium heat; add carrots, soybeans and onion. Cook 3 minutes or until softened. Add rice; stir to coat. Cook 3 minutes or until heated through.
Dietary Fiber: 2g
To avoid a soggy fried rice. Use left over rice that has been dried on a paper towel. Carrots and corn also need to be dried before cooking because the water from them will seep into the rice. Baby corn in a can will not work so go for the fresh corn if you have it. Before frying the rice cook the onions and add small chili in the express-favor to form a base and then add in small amount sesame oil as the rice is cooked the favors will combine. Constantly stir the rice to avoid burning. Put the soy-sauce in dish on the side with more chili sauce. Not everyone likes it combined in the rice and it will turn the rice brown.. A good fried rice is golden in color.
