Szechuan Green Beans

These spicy green beans taste just like those from your favorite takeout restaurant.

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
1 small (1/2 cup) onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger


Heat water in saucepan until boiling. Add green beans, cook 1 minute. Drain beans; rinse with cold water until beans are no longer hot. Set aside.

Melt Sauté Express® squares in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until bubbles begin to form. Add all remaining ingredients. Cook 1-2 minutes or until onions are softened. Add green beans; cook, stirring occasionally, 2-4 minutes or until beans are crisply tender.
