Double Chocolate Dream Cookies

Chocolate cookies that will make chocolate lovers melt.

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12-ounce) package (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips (We recommend NESTLÈ® TOLL HOUSE® Morsels)


Heat oven to 375°F. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Set aside.

Combine brown sugar, butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at high speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture gradually, beating at low speed after each addition, until well mixed. Stir in morsels.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until cookies are puffed. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to cooling rack. Cool completely.

Yummy! They taste like little gems of chocolate filled goodness!! I would recommend using a cookie scoop... otherwise, the cookie could be tender if you don't "pack" them. Love this recipe!!
Delicious and soft/moist. Fudgy and chocolatey. I made these with a mix of semisweet and white chocolate chips. A favorite of kids AND adults (I can only imagine what it would taste like with a little instant coffee/espresso mixed in for the adults!! I'll try that next time).
This recipe is a keeper.
Recipe definitely yields 4 1/2 dozen per batch. The smaller you make the cookies, the more you will get. I used less chocolate chips than the recipe called for - about 3/4 of the bag. I thought the whole bag was too many chips. The cookies were delicious - definitely for chocolate lovers!
