I have been making this recipe at least once every 3 months since I first printed it out in 2006. My family absolutely loves it. The only thing that I do differently is to add 1 cup of water.
I make this recipe frequently during the fall and winter. It is absoultly delicious and easy. The gravy that it makes is very good over mashed potatoe.
This was an unexpected great surprise dinner for a slow cooker which I did not start until after 1:00 P.M. The roast turned out tender and tasty...This will be our easy, great holiday dinner so "the chef" can enjoy the holiday fun.
This recipe is easy to set up and wonderful for family and guests. My grandchildren request it whenever they come to town! It is great with wholeberry cranberry sauce too! You can't go wrong with this one.
