Orange cookies that have the creamy orange flavor of the ice cream treats we remember from our childhood.
Heat oven to 350°F. Combine flour, drink mix, baking soda and baking powder in small bowl; set aside.
Combine sugar and butter in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour mixture; beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in baking chips.
Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set.

Made them for my son for Valentine's Day, he has requested them twice since, they are so good and easy to prepare.
I made several batches of this cookie last year for a Christmas cookie exchange; everyone LOVED it. I will make it again. It's a unique cookie flavour and easy recipe. I usually make whole wheat cookies but these definitely come out far better using all purpose flour.
I've been making this cookie for years, and it's one of my most requested. Most tasters ask for the recipe. I use Tang, and since I started making it Tang has changed a bit, but it doesn't affect the cookie. I've considered using a different flavor drink mix, but haven't tried it. Could be very good!
