This recipie was terrible. I would not recommend trying these to anyone, we threw them away after just a taste. To start, the recipie fails to tell you to use softened butter, but once you start mixing the crust it is pretty clear that it should have been included. I also found it difficult to make sure we had enough time for the 45 minute wait time between the first half of the recipie and the second half. When we finally finsihed the cookies, the presentation was lacking and they basically fell apart. As for taste, they tasted like melted chocolate chips and not much more. It seemed like there wasnt enough substance to the cookie/bar to support the overwhelming amount of chocolate. If you are looking for a real crowd pleaser, try the old world rasberry bars.
