Not big on peppers so we leave them out. This is very tasty and extremely easy
We thought it was very good. We left the peppers out because we just don't like those for breakfast. But very good overall, and super simple to prep ahead, which makes it great for holiday mornings.
I have made this recipe for home several times and thoroughly enjoyed it. I took to my church for a Saturday brunch and to my surprise it went quickly. I use a hot sausage and found seasoning the batter to add flavor since the first time in preparing this recipe was bland. I use egg substitute to cut down on cholesterol and of course Land O'Lakes butter. I usually like toast with this casserole and fresh fruit or juice. It's great to make over the weekend for a breakfast alternative through the week.
This dish was excellent! So easy to prepare. A keeper. I did decrease to sausage to 8 oz., increase the eggs to 6, added a chopped onion and skipped to butter spread. Everyone loved it! Try it you will like it.
