Mom's French Toast
French toast just like Mom's and as easy as 1-2-3!

8 (1-inch) slices French bread
1 teaspoon vanilla
Powdered sugar, if desired
Combine half & half, eggs and vanilla in 9-inch pie plate; mix well. Using tongs or fork, dip bread slices into half & half mixture, turning to coat both sides. Let stand 1-2 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt Fresh Buttery Taste® Spread in 10-inch skillet or griddle until sizzling; add bread slices. Cook, turning once, 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
Place onto serving plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve with maple syrup.
