I don't usually bake sweets at home. However, 4 times a year, we vacation in the NC mtns and I always make these bars as a special treat for us and any visitors. They are a wonderful and easy indulgence!
I have made this recipe many times to take to gatherings, and it is always well-received. Many of my friends have asked me for this recipe because it is so delicious. This recipe is definitely a winner. Give it a try!
These bars are absolutely fabulous! They are very rich so make sure to make the bar size small - you truly should get 36 out of one pan.
This is an incredibly simple and delicious recipe!!! I mixed in some of the cashews and then sprinkled more on top. It is so good it should be named 'sin'!! It definitely is going to be one of our favorites!!
