Pastry

Single-crust unbaked 9-inch pie pastry

Filling

3/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted

4 large Land O Lakes® Eggs, beaten

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 teaspoons cornmeal

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 teaspoons Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Garnish

Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream, whipped, if desired

Pecan halves, if desired

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Place pastry into 9-inch pie pan. Crimp or flute edge of pastry; set aside.

  3. STEP 3

    Combine all filling ingredients in bowl. Stir until well mixed.

  4. STEP 4

    Pour filling into prepared pastry. Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.

  5. STEP 5

    Top each serving with whipped cream, if desired. Garnish with pecan halves, if desired.
