For breakfast or brunch, these easy apple cinnamon muffins are a tasty favorite.
Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 12-cup muffin pan; set aside.
Combine, flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon in bowl. Add all remaining ingredients. Stir just until flour is moistened.
Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake 18-23 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand 5 minutes; remove from pan.
Serve with Land O Lakes® Spreadable Butter with Canola Oil.

They came out well, but a bit too sweet. Perhaps cut down to 1/2 cup of sugar?
I was confused by the amount of butter - is it melt 1/3 cup of butter (5 1/3 teaspons) or is it 1/3 cup (liquid) of melted butter? I split the difference and it seemed to come out ok. I also agree more spice is needed and will try the 1/2 whole wheat, 1/2 white four variation.
These muffins were tender, moist and very tasty! I used one small golden delicious apple and apple pie spice. They are so quick and easy to make. You all are going to love them! It's a five star recipe, for sure.
This is the first time I made this recipeIt was great. Easy to follow. I added a little more spice.I give them an A++
Yummy! I omitted the topping all togther, since my son is still too young to eat nuts, and they are still delicious. They also freeze really well!
These are delicious! To make them a little healthier, replace half the butter with applesauce. Also, add only a half cup of sugar instead of three-fourths. These muffins are healthy and delicious. They are also good with some nuts sprinkled in. Enjoy!
These were DELICIOUS. Quick and easy to make--I will say that i only ended up with 11 muffins, which is sad since they were so delicious.

I have been making this recipe a couple of years now. I always make at least a double batch, usually 4 batches so I have plenty to freeze. I use 1/2 wheat and 1/2 white flour. I add an extra sprinkling of cinnamon to the batter. I also use 1/2 the amount of butter called for and add applesauce to make up the difference. Sometimes a mix up an equal amount of chooped pecans and brown sugar and sprinkle on the top. We LOVE these muffins. Oh, and I only use granny smith apples, 2 giant apples for a double batch.
I used 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar- this is the exact simple recipe with a fantastic result I was looking for ! This is a keeper!
If eaten fresh they were tasty though a bit sweet for my liking. If eaten the day after baking they were quite dry and needed to be spread with butter.
I thought these were good. I added a little nutmeg. The directions could be more clear on how many eggs & apple, I added 1 each. I used a golden delicious.
I was so surprized that everyone liked these muffins. Even after a few days they were as fresh as the first day. They were easy to make and tasted awesome.
Definitely needs a pat of butter spread on it when eating. Just seems to be missing something! Maybe I will try adding walnuts next time or maybe a dash of nutmeg.
My family and friends loved this muffin recipe. Was asked for the recipe by several friends.
You might as well double or triple this recipe because your family will be asking for more. I added chopped walnuts to mine and also sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar before baking. I used Granny Smith apples, but you could use Fuji. I used 1-2 apples for each batch.
Awesome when warm out of the oven and served with fresh brewed coffee! Easy and quick to make, too.
My brother loved these. They were pretty good.
Love this reciep; I sprinkle the tops of the muffins with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar before I put them in the oven, sometimes I even use some sliced almonds on top with the cinnamon and sugar.

These muffins were a huge success at our family monthly breakfast meet. I added an additional tsp. of cinnamon; and then I sprinkled cinnamon sugar on the tops and baked; they were AWESOME; the basket was empty in know time; so they were a big success.

I would mark this 20 stars if I could. I wanted to have a quick and easy breakfast with coffee one morning and these little muffins were super! I would not change this recipe one iota...though next time I would make a double batch because they are a crowd-pleaser!
I doubled this recipe -- and used Rome apples -- for a family brunch and it got such a great response, I thought I'd better write a review. My husband wants me to make "thousands" of these to freeze so we won't run out.
