2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon freshly grated orange zest
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 3 (5x3 3/4-inch) mini loaf pans; set aside.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in bowl. Stir milk, orange juice, butter, egg, and orange zest into flour mixture. Stir until ingredients are moistened. Stir in dates and nuts.
Divide batter among prepared pans. Bake 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans. Cool completely. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil.
A greased 9x5x3-inch baking pan may also be used. Bake 60-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 16 servings
