I use this recipe every time I make a chocolate cake and it is perfect! soft and light on the first day and then it goes slightly fudgy the next. I use chocolate ganache as a topping instead of the peanut butter frosting.
This is the best peanut butter frosting I've ever made! It's not overly sweet like the Wilton one I've made. It taste great and everyone loved it! I can't wait to try the cake too!
I loved the cake recipe although did not try the frosting. The cake came out very moist and I felt it was a very simple recipe to make from scratch.
My family didn't like the chocolate/peanut butter frosting combo. The cake was very good, in fact I may make that again and frost it with chocolate frosting. But I won't make it with peanut butter frosting.
