2/3 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh garlic
2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

1 (48-ounce) package frozen (22 to 27) chicken wing drumettes, thawed

Cucumber Sauce

1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup sour cream
1 small (1/2 cup) cucumber, peeled, seeded, shredded
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground pepper

Combine all marinade ingredients in large resealable plastic food bag; add chicken drumettes. Tightly seal bag; turn bag several times to coat chicken. Place bag in pan. Refrigerate, turning occasionally, 3 hours or overnight.

Combine all cucumber sauce ingredients in small bowl; mix well. Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Heat oven to 425°F. Remove chicken drumettes from marinade; discard marinade. Arrange chicken on aluminum foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake 50-55 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink, turning once.

Serve hot chicken wing drumettes with cucumber sauce.

Recipe Tip

Cucumber sauce flavor is best when made a day ahead.

Recipe Tip
Chicken wings can be kept warm for entertaining by placing fully baked drumettes and all remaining juice into slow cooker set on Low heat setting.
