2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 to 5 teaspoons milk
2 tablespoons chopped pecans, toasted, if desired
- To toast pecans, spread onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring once, or until lightly browned.
- To drizzle glaze over brownies, place glaze in small resealable plastic food bag. Snip off tiny corner of bag. Squeeze bag over brownies to drizzle glaze.
