Turkey Meatball Sliders

"I would like to state for the record that I love sliders. 
Love, love, love, love, love, love sliders."

4 servings (8 sliders)


1 pound ground turkey
1/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1/4 cup milk
2 cups prepared marinara sauce
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
8 store bought dinner rolls (or special slider rolls), halved


Place large skillet on stove over medium heat. Spread 2 tablespoons of Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt lightly on the buns. Grill buns in the skillet until golden brown.

In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, pepper, parsley and milk. Using a spoon (or your hands) mix until totally combined. Form into 8 uniform meatballs. Place on a plate and set aside.

In a large or 12-inch skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt. Add meatballs and sauté until cooked through, about 8 minutes. (Use a spatula to move the meatballs around the skillet as they cook.) Remove meatballs from pan and set aside on a clean plate.

Add onions to pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until they begin to turn translucent, about 3 minutes. Pour in prepared marinara and stir to combine.

Place meatballs in sauce, stirring them gently to coat them. Put the lid on the skillet and allow meatballs to simmer for 10 to 14 minutes.

To serve, place meatballs on the bottom buns and immediately top with a spoonful of extra sauce and grated mozzarella. Top with other bun half.

Serve with Garlic & Herbed-Flavored Sweet Potato Fries.
