What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) enables you to get new content from your favorite web sites sent to a service like My Yahoo!
or an RSS reader (such as Pluck or FeedDemon). You'll be able to view updates from many sites organized in one place, making it
easy for you to stay updated with what's new on your favorite sites. These updates are called "feeds." No personal information
is required to subscribe to a
Land O'Lakes feed and you can control how long you want to subscribe to a feed.
How can I use RSS?
To begin your RSS experience, you need to sign up for an RSS reader. If you use
My Yahoo! or
Google, simply click the "Add to My Yahoo!" or "Add to Google" button
below to subscribe. If you are using an RSS reader, click on the orange "XML" button, then copy the URL in your
browser's address bar, and paste into your RSS reader, according to the RSS reader's instructions. No personal information is required,
and you can control how long you want to subscribe to a feed.
Then, when you open the RSS reader, it will display the latest updates from the web pages you selected. It's like having your own newspaper
with updates that are "clickable headlines."
Tip
If possible, we recommend setting your RSS reader to pull our feeds daily, as opposed to every 15 or 30 minutes. We update once a day.
Are there any restrictions to using the landolakes.com RSS feeds?
Our feeds are free for your personal use in an RSS reader or on your non-commercial website. However, we ask that you properly attribute any
Land O'Lakes content that you use on your site, and reserve the right to require you to cease distributing
Land O'Lakes content.
