How do I measure butter?
2 cups = 4 sticks = 1 pound
1 cup = 2 sticks = 1/2 pound
1/2 cup = 1 stick = 1/4 pound
1/4 cup = 1/2 stick = 4 tablespoons
The wrapping on LAND O LAKES® Butter sticks is conveniently marked into tablespoons for easy measuring. If you don't have sticks, press softened butter into a measuring cup, pressing to remove any air pockets.
