Ingredients

(1/2 cup)
Bock beer
(1/4 cup)
LAND O LAKES® Reduced Cream
Base
(2 tablespoons)
LAND O LAKES® Butter
(1/8 teaspoon)
Red pepper
(1/8 teaspoon)
Pepper
(8 (3/4-ounce) slices)
LAND O LAKES® Sharp Cheddar
American Cheese
(6 (1/4-pound))
Hot dogs, premium
Pretzel buns, sliced horizontally 6
halfway through
(If desired)
Popcorn, popped

Directions

  1. Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  2. Meanwhile, combine beer, Reduced Cream Base, butter, red pepper and pepper in1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring with wire whisk, until mixture justcomes to boil. Reduce heat to medium; add cheese. Continue cooking until cheese is meltedand smooth. Keep warm.
  3. Meanwhile, place hot dogs onto grill. Grill, turning occasionally, until heatedthrough and grill marks show; 5 to 9 minutes. Place hot dogs into pretzel buns; top each with 2 tablespoons cheese sauce. Sprinkle with popcorn, if desired. Serve with remainingcheese sauce for dipping.
