1/8 teaspoon
ground red pepper

1/4 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
2/3 cup
panko bread crumbs
1/3 cup

asparagus spears, ends trimmed

  3. Place melted butter into pie plate or shallow bowl; set aside.
  4. Combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in another pie plate or shallow bowl; set aside.
  5. Coat asparagus spears in melted butter. Roll in bread crumb mixture, pressing to adhere to asparagus. Place in single layer on prepared baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes, turning once halfway through baking, or until coating is crispy and asparagus is tender.

Easy and fast to make. I liked the mix of breadcrumbs and cheese on the coating. If I make again will leave salt out as it was unnecessary with the cheese anyway. Was almost inedible due to saltiness. Even my husband thought so and he loves salt.
