Bacon & Avocado Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients

8 slices sandwich bread

8 teaspoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil  

8 (3/4-ounce) slices white Land O Lakes® Deli American

8 slices crisply cooked bacon

1 ripe avocado, peeled, cut into 12 wedges

8 slices tomato

 *Substitute Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Spread 1 side of each bread slice with 1 teaspoon Butter with Canola Oil.

  2. STEP 2

    Layer 1 slice bread, buttered-side down, with 1 slice cheese, 2 slices bacon, 3 wedges avocado, 2 slices tomato and 1 slice cheese. Top with 1 slice bread, buttered-side up.

  3. STEP 3

    Heat 12-inch skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  4. STEP 4

    Place 2 sandwiches into skillet; cook, turning once, 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
