This recipe is easy to prepare and kids loves a lot.

Doubled the recipe so I could use a whole egg. Also used self raising flour instead of all purpose and baking powder. Left out the sprinkles. Cooked it in two mugs then tipped out and cut into 4 pieces, each about a cupcake in size. Topped each with some vanilla buttercream I had in the freezer. My boys and I thought it was yummy.

Pretty tasty! I made this for an early-morning treat and it was delicious! I only had one tablespoon of butter, so I substituted sunflower oil for the other half, and put in a tad more baking powder. Also forgot to put in the sprinkles until it was already in the microwave. It was a bit soggy on the very bottom, but other than that, it was delicious!

This is by far the BEST mug cake recipe I've ever tried and I have tried so many. This one is really fluffy and delicious, never chewy or runny. It actually tastes like a real cake and not some sugary mess.

I've tried so many mug cake recipes that turned out dense and dry, and this one is absolutely perfect! Sweet, fluffy, and delicious. I put lemon extract in mine for a lemon pound cake zing, and it was PERFECT!

Amazing. I just made it and it's great. I've actually made it a couple of times and it turned out great every time. Magnificent.

Yuck! Just made this and didn't like it at all!!

Perfect! I wanted a late night sweet but didn't have much around. Cake made in less than 10mins!? And it tasted good!? It totally satisfied my craving! I can't wait to play around with different flavors and ingredients.

i've made quite an array of mug cakes in my past and this by far was the most successful! super fluffy, and just the right amount for one. i substituted the sugar for one tbsp of truvia and added butterscotch chips and it was delissshh.

This was delicious! I accidentally added too much vanilla, (2 teaspoons oops) so I balanced it out with extra milk and flour, as well as a dash of cinnamon. I didn't have any sprinkles, though. 30 seconds with 10 second intervals was perfection The dash of cinnamon made a huge difference, I definitely recommend this

This is the best mug cake recipe I have tried yet, and I've made quite a few. It comes out very fluffy and pretty close to the consistency of a true cake. (55 seconds was plenty long in my 1000W microwave, however.)

Fluffy and great texture for a mug cake. Add some vanilla icing and it tastes just like birthday cake. Not oily at all like other mug cakes

Amazing this was my first ever mug cake!!! And omg I never knew you could even do this... I wouldn't try the batter because yuck but the cake was fluffy and perfect.... Delicious!

Too much egg. I would suggest using just a half an egg, because I think the final product comes out too eggy.

I made this mug cake and it tasted very good! Don't get worried when the batter is very soggy and not thick because mine turned out ok. Unlike the others, my bater didn't taste as good as the final product did, but i used self rising flour as an alternative to all purpose flour and the baking powder and it turned out just fine. Something I would fix is using less vanilla because it was too overpowering to the rest of the ingredients. Overall this cake tastes really good!

Like alot of people stated the batter is better than the end result, but it is really good for how long it takes, you have to put in consideration that's it only takes 8 minuets and it's pretty sang good I recommend this for a snack it's really filling, I didn't use sprinkles but I added teaspoon almond abstract and 1 extra vainilla teaspoon and 5-10 melted chocolate chips and some ice cream on top it was really good I made it aging with everything it wanted and it's still really good, I think some powdered sugar could make it even better!

Thought this was very good-I had no sprinkles and I used 1/2 tsp of vanilla and 1/2 tsp of almond because I like that combination-wedding cake taste. I also microwaved it about 50-55 seconds on the cooking part and that was plenty. It would depend on your oven-mine it 1100. Put a little ice cream on top with a little whipped cream. Yummy!

It's okay, I would like it to have a little more moisture, It is a little dry for my taste, but not bad for a mug cake

It was ok, like another comment said, the batter tasted much better than the final cake. I put mine in for 75 seconds and that was a little too long. I like that this cake creates a good 1 person serving and isn't massive like some other mug cakes.
