I made this for my husband's birthday instead of a cake, and WE LOVED IT! Delicious and easy to make. My daughter took these also to a holiday party, and they were inhaled. They taste even better (if possible) the next day if you can prepare them beforehand. Very rich and yummmmy!
These bars were a big hit at our United Way bake sale. My house smelled so good they almost didn't make it to the sale.
Due to time constraints, I didn't drizzle the chocolate on top but no one noticed.
These bars are moist but crumbly. A delicious treat!
