It’s summer…and that means that gardens and the farmers’ markets are bursting at the seams with all the ingredients for one of my favorite summer condiments…salsa.

It’s summer…and that means that gardens and the farmers’ markets are bursting at the seams with all the ingredients for one of my favorite summer condiments…salsa.

 

Although you may think of salsa as containing tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, etc…it doesn’t end there! Personally, I love adding fruit salsas to dinners to -add some fresh flavor. When it’s hot outside, like it is here in Minnesota, I find a fruit salsa on my sandwich or grilled meats is the perfect way to end the day.

 

Here are four of my favorites that are quick and easy to put together. You can make the salsa and let the flavors “blend” while you get the rest of your meal together.
