Mediterranean Cheese Ball

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

4 ounces (1 cup) Land O Lakes® Creamy Italian Blend Cheese, shredded

3 tablespoons chopped kalamata olives

2 tablespoons chopped sundried tomatoes

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, divided

1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine cream cheese, Italian Blend cheese, olives, sundried tomatoes, 1 tablespoon parsley, lemon zest and juice, Italian seasoning and garlic powder in bowl. Using hand mixer, beat until well combined. Transfer to large piece of plastic food wrap.

  2. STEP 2

    Using damp hands, form cheese mixture into a ball. Wrap tightly; refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.

  3. STEP 3

    To serve, unwrap cheese ball; place onto serving plate. Sprinkle with remaining chopped parsley.

  4. STEP 4

    Serve alongside crostini, fresh vegetables, pita chips or favorite crackers.

Tip #1

Cold cream cheese? Soften in a snap by removing foil wrapper, placing in a microwave-safe bowl and microwaving in 5-second bursts, checking for desired softness.

Tip #2

Make this up to a day ahead of time—just wrap and refrigerate. When it's time to serve, garnish with parsley.
