Caramel Apple Pie Cheese Ball

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 ounce (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Sharp White Cheddar Farmstyle Cut Shredded Cheese

1/4 cup diced Granny Smith apple

2 tablespoons caramel ice cream topping, divided

3/4 teaspoon lemon juice

1/8 teaspoon apple pie spice

1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans

1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, apple, 1 tablespoon caramel sauce, lemon juice and apple pie spice in bowl. Using hand mixer, beat until well combined. Transfer to large piece of plastic food wrap.

  2. STEP 2

    Using damp hands, form cheese mixture into a ball. Wrap tightly; refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.

  3. STEP 3

    To serve, place pecans on clean piece of plastic food wrap. Roll unwrapped cheese ball in nuts until covered. Transfer to serving plate; drizzle with remaining caramel sauce. Sprinkle with salt.

  4. STEP 4

    Serve immediately with pretzels, graham crackers, apple slices or other dippers.

Tip #1

Cold cream cheese? Soften in a snap by removing foil wrapper, placing in a microwave-safe bowl and microwaving in 5-second bursts, checking for desired softness.
