Ingredients

1 1/4 cups (150 grams) all-purpose flour

3/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Place flour into microwave-safe bowl; microwave on High 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds, until thermometer inserted in center reads 165°F. Cool completely.

  2. STEP 2

    Meanwhile, combine butter, sugars, vanilla and salt in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Stir in cooled flour until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips. Store any leftovers tightly covered in refrigerator.

Tip #1

Raw flour is not safe to eat and must be heated to 165°F before using to make edible cookie dough. For best results, use an instant-read thermometer to measure the temperature of the flour just after microwaving.
