8 ounces uncooked dried angel hair pasta (capellini)
1 (16-ounce) package frozen vegetable combination (broccoli, carrots and cauliflower)
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups Land O Lakes® Half & Half
1 teaspoon instant chicken boullion granules
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 cup light sour cream
8 ounces cooked ham, cut into thin strips
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese , if desired
STEP 1
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Keep warm.
STEP 2
Cook vegetables according to package directions; drain.
STEP 3
Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan until sizzling; add garlic. Cook 1 minute over medium-low heat. Stir in flour; continue cooking 1 minute or until smooth and bubbly. Stir in half & half, bouillon granules, dry mustard and basil with whisk. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 7-10 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Stir in sour cream; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 2-3 minutes or until heated through. Add cooked vegetables and ham; toss to coat.
STEP 4
Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
