4 ounces uncooked dried angel hair pasta (capellini) , broken in half
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
6 medium Roma tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil
Freshly shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired
STEP 1
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Keep warm.
STEP 2
Place garlic into 10-inch nonstick skillet. Cook over medium heat 1 minute. Add tomatoes and basil. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
STEP 3
Toss together hot pasta, tomato mixture and Butter with Canola Oil in serving bowl. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
Your favorite pasta can be substituted for angel hair pasta.
