Ingredients

Chicken Salad

3 cups
skinned, boned, shredded deli rotisserie chicken
2 tablespoons
chopped green onion
1/2 cup
mayonnaise
1 medium (1 cup)
apple , unpeeled, chopped
2 (3/4-ounce ) slices
Land O Lakes® Deli American, chopped
1/4 teaspoon
pepper

Pitas

pita pocket halves , cut in half
6 (3/4-ounce ) slices
Land O Lakes® Deli American, cut diagonally into quarters

Directions

  1. Combine all chicken salad ingredients in bowl; mix well.
  2. Place 2 triangles cheese into each pita pocket. Place 1/3 cup chicken salad between cheese triangles.

Recipe Tips

Depending on the size of the chicken, one purchased rotisserie chicken will yield between 3 to 4 cups chopped chicken.
