1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground allspice

1/2 pound (6 to 8 slices) bacon, cut in half

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F. Line 15x10x1-inch baking pan with kitchen parchment paper.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine brown sugar and allspice in bowl. Coat bacon slices with brown sugar mixture.

  3. STEP 3

    Place coated bacon onto prepared pan. Bake 14-16 minutes or until crisp.

  4. STEP 4

    Place cooked bacon on clean parchment paper; let stand until slightly cooled. Serve warm or at room temperature.

This recipe can be made ahead. Refrigerate until serving time. Reheat bacon or serve at room temperature.
