Serve this flavorful, colorful and delicious salad, reminiscent of the classic BLT sandwich, for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Salad Dressing

1/4 cup
cider vinegar
1 tablespoon
sugar
2 tablespoons
vegetable oil
1 tablespoon
lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon
pepper
1/2 teaspoon
finely chopped fresh garlic
1/4 teaspoon
salt

Salad

1 (10-ounce) package
lettuce
2 medium
tomatoes, cut into wedges
1 medium
avocado, peeled, cut into wedges
6 (3/4-ounce) slices
Land O Lakes® Provolone Cheese, cut into julienne strips
8 slices
crisply cooked bacon, crumbled

Directions

  1. Combine all salad dressing ingredients in bowl.
  2. Place lettuce onto platter or into individual salad bowls. Arrange tomatoes and avocado on lettuce; top with cheese and bacon. Pour dressing over salad.

Great salad nice change for me.

great recipe! yield: 4 servings; easy to make for just one divide the dressing recipe by 4; also- decrease amount of oil in dressing, if desired. I did not have mozzarella and substituted sharp cheddar 1/4 cup per serving and it was delightful!
