Ingredients

Steak

2 pounds top sirloin beef steak

Horseradish Sauce

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup milk

1 tablespoon prepared horseradish  

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1/4 teaspoon pepper

 

  *Substitute 3/4 teaspoon dried dill weed and 2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat broiler.

  2. STEP 2

    Place steak onto greased broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat, turning once, 10-12 minutes or until desired doneness.

  3. STEP 3

    Combine all horseradish sauce ingredients in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes or until heated through.

  4. STEP 4

    Cut steak on diagonal into thin slices. Serve with hot horseradish sauce.

Tip #1

Grilling Directions: Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white. Place steak onto grill. Grill, turning once, 10-12 minutes or until desired doneness. Prepare sauce as directed above. Serve steak and sauce as directed above.
