2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

1 tablespoon honey

3 to 4 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Half & Half

Decorations

Tiny pretzel twists

Vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark), melted

Decorator sugars and sprinkles

Rainbow licorice, cut into 2-inch strips

Blackberry-shaped gummy candies

Large yellow jelly beans

Black string licorice

How to make

  1. STEP 1

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 15x10x1-inch baking pan; set aside.

  2. STEP 2

Combine 1 cup butter, water and unsweetened baking chocolate in 3-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat 6-7 minutes or until mixture just comes to a boil. Remove from heat; cool slightly.

  3. STEP 3

Combine flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in bowl; mix well. Add eggs and chocolate mixture; beat at medium speed until well mixed.

  4. STEP 4

Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake 18-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.

  5. STEP 5

Combine all frosting ingredients except half & half in bowl. Beat at medium-high speed, adding enough half & half for desired frosting consistency. Frost cooled cake.

  6. STEP 6

Create butterfly wings by dipping double rounded ends of pretzels half way into melted candy coating. Immediately sprinkle each with decorator sugars. Place onto waxed paper; let stand until set. Place 2 coated pretzels with non-coated edges touching. Place onto cake. Attach 2 pieces licorice over center using small amount of melted candy coating.

  7. STEP 7

Create bees by cutting 1 blackberry candy and 1 yellow gumdrop in half; attach cut-sides together, with small amount of melted candy coating, alternating colors. Attach small piece of black string licorice for antennas; place onto cake with candy coating.
