1 cup shredded pork
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
8 slices Texas toast
3 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
8 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American
*Substitute shredded chicken or beef.
Combine pork and barbecue sauce in bowl; set aside.
Spread 1 side of each bread slice with about 1 teaspoon butter.
Layer 1 bread slice, buttered-side down, with 1 cheese slice, 1/4 cup pork mixture and 1 cheese slice. Place 1 bread slice, buttered-side up, over cheese.
Heat 12-inch skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Place 2 sandwiches into skillet; cook, turning once, 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
Look for precooked shredded pork in the meat section of your supermarket.
