Ingredients

1
large Land O Lakes® Egg
2 tablespoons
water
5 slices
bacon, chopped
1/2 pound
lean ground beef
1 small (1/2 cup)
onion, chopped
1/3 cup
barbecue sauce
1 (13.8-ounce) tube
refrigerated pizza crust dough
3 (3/4-ounce) slices
Land O Lakes® Deli American, cut in half diagonally
Sesame seed, if desired

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Grease baking sheet; set aside.
  2. Whisk egg and water together in bowl until frothy. Set aside. 
  3. Place bacon in 10-inch nonstick skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 4-6 minutes or until crisp. Remove bacon with slotted spoon to paper towel; set aside.
  4. Place ground beef and onion into same skillet. Cook over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Drain; stir in cooked bacon and barbecue sauce. Remove from heat; cool about 20 minutes.
  5. Unroll pizza crust dough on clean working surface; press into 15x10-inch rectangle. Cut into 6 (5-inch) squares. Place diagonal pieces of cheese so points are 1/2 inch from 1 corner of each dough square. Top cheese with 1/4 cup meat mixture; spread over cheese. Fold half of dough over to form triangle; pinch edges to seal tightly. Place onto prepared baking sheet; crimp edges firmly with fork.
  6. Brush dough with egg mixture; sprinkle with sesame seed, if desired. Bake 17-19 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.

Recipe Tips

To crimp, press tines of fork firmly over seams of dough so filling will not leak out during baking.
