Bars
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 to 3 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
STEP 1
Combine granulated sugar and butter in bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add pumpkin; beat until well mixed.
STEP 2
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 15x10x1-inch baking pan; set aside.
STEP 3
Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt and remaining spices in bowl. Set aside.
STEP 4
Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture, beating at low speed and scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
STEP 5
Spoon 2 1/4 cups batter into bowl. Add cocoa; mix well. Spread into prepared pan. Spread remaining batter over top.
STEP 6
Bake 21-24 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes.
STEP 7
Combine all glaze ingredients except milk in bowl; beat at low speed, gradually adding enough milk for desired spreading consistency. Drizzle glaze over bars.
