Sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup lite soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Stir-Fry
2 teaspoons Land O Lakes® Butter
3/4 pound pre-cut beef stir-fry meat
1/2 pound fresh asparagus spears, , trimmed, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 (16-ounce) package fresh stir-fry vegetables
Hot cooked rice, if desired
*Substitute 1 (10-ounce) package frozen cut asparagus. **Substitute 1 (16-ounce) package frozen pepper stir-fry vegetable combination.
STEP 1
Stir together all sauce ingredients in bowl. Set aside.
STEP 2
Melt butter in 12-inch nonstick skillet or wok; add beef. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 6-8 minutes or until meat is browned.
STEP 3
Add sauce, asparagus and vegetables. Cover; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 6-8 minutes or until mixture thickens and vegetables are heated through.
STEP 4
Serve over hot cooked rice, if desired.
