12 roll-ups

Ingredients

1 (10-ounce) can
refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup
shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Press dough to 12x8-inch rectangle on lightly floured surface. Sprinkle cheese over crust to within 1/2-inch of edge. Roll up dough, starting with long edge. Pinch edges to seal.
  2. Cut roll into 1-inch pieces with sharp knife. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.

Recipe Tips

If you do not have a nonstick baking sheet, use a regular aluminum baking sheet. Grease baking sheet well and remove roll-ups immediately after baking to prevent sticking. Increase baking time by 2 minutes.

Made these for a ladie's "afternoon tea". Very good. Love the "quick breakfast" idea submitted earlier.

This is a simple, easy recipe. I have also added cooked sausage to sprinkle on top of cheese. Great quick breakfast.

These are so easy and so yummy! I received a lot of compliments when I took them to a party. I made them more bite size by cutting the dough lengthwise before rolling it up, and baking about 10 minutes. I used a Jack/cheddar combo with the Italian seasoning for the filling.
