Cranberries add a tangy note to this cheese-topped sandwich that is great to serve for casual entertaining this season.
1 (16-ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon horseradish
1 (1-pound) loaf French bread, cut in half horizontally
1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter melted
1 1/2 pounds thinly sliced deli turkey breast
8 (3/4-ounce) slices yellow and/or white cut in half diagonally Land O Lakes® Deli American
Combine cranberry sauce and horseradish in bowl; mix well.
Place bread onto ungreased baking sheet, cut-side up. Spread each bread half with 2 tablespoons butter. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.
Spread each bread half with 3/4 cup cranberry mixture; layer each evenly with turkey and cheese triangles.Continue broiling 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Cut each half into 6 pieces.
