2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup cold Land O Lakes® Butter
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup almond or English toffee bits
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
1 tablespoon sugar
STEP 1
Heat oven to 375°F.
STEP 2
Combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder and baking soda in bowl; cut in 1/2 cup butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just until flour is moistened. Gently stir in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
STEP 3
Drop about 1/4 cup batter for each biscuit, 1 inch apart, onto large ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops with melted butter. Sprinkle biscuits evenly with 1 tablespoon sugar. Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
