This is our go to cake for birthday night! It is easy to make and delicious! I don't change a thing and it comes out perfectly every time. I did use a 7x11" pan this time and that worked great.

Made this recipe pretty much by the book - absolutely fantastic. Making it was easy and quick since it only really used the pan the cake bakes in, an additional bowl and a few utensils. The cake itself was soft and pleasant and the topping was perfectly sweet. I used some additional milk chocolate toffee, but I think this is part of the recipe that is "to taste" based on an individuals preferences. Will definitely make this again without any alterations.
