Ingredients

Cookie

1 (11.4- to 21-ounce) box cinnamon streusel quick bread mix

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 large Land O Lakes® Egg

1/2 cup cinnamon baking chips

1/4 cup coarse grain sugar or sugar

Glaze

1/2 cup cinnamon baking chips

1 teaspoon shortening

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine quick bread mix packets, butter, vanilla and egg in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Stir in 1/2 cup cinnamon chips.

  3. STEP 3

    Place sugar into bowl. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll balls in sugar. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

  4. STEP 4

    Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely.

  5. STEP 5

    Place 1/2 cup cinnamon chips and shortening into bowl. Microwave 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted. Drizzle tops of cooled cookies with glaze.

Tip #1

Coarse grain sugar can be clear or colored. If you can’t find this in the supermarket, look for it in cake decorating supply stores or cooking stores.
