  3. Line 8x4-inch loaf pan with waxed paper or aluminum foil. Press orange dough in even layer onto bottom of lined pan. Top evenly with lemon dough, gently patting dough. Top evenly with lime dough, gently patting dough. Cover; refrigerate at least 4 hours or until firm.
  4. Heat oven to 375°F. Lift dough out of pan and peel off waxed paper or aluminum foil. Cut into 1/4-inch slices; cut each slice in half forming 2x1 1/2-inch pieces. Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are very lightly browned.

I've made these twice now - both times for a wedding cookie table (it's a Pittsburgh thing!). They are very delicious and a pretty cookie, especially for spring or summer.

Great little cookie!

These are very good! Very buttery tasting, nice citrus flavor, and a nice soft cookie. One thing...I did have to double the listed food coloring for the orange and yellow to keep things somewhat even I added one more drop to the green as well. These were a big hit. Will definitely make again!

Very pretty and surprisingly simple. I didn't have any limes handy but just doubling the juice seemed to do the trick.

I made these cookies last year for our family camping weekend and have made them again for this year's weekend. Nice, refreshing cookie.

I made these for a baby shower because I thought the pastel colors would be perfect for the occasion. I was right about the colors, but the taste was wonderful, too. I've shared the recipe several times already.

Taste like rainbow sherbert...wonderful for spring cookie tray.
