Ingredients

1/2 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
6 ounces (1 1/2 cups )
shredded Cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons
water
1 teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon
salt
3/4 cup
all-purpose flour
3/4 cup
uncooked quick-cooking oats
3 slices
bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Combine butter, Cheddar cheese, water, Worcestershire sauce and salt in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Add flour, oats and bacon; mix well.
  2. Shape into 12-inch roll on plastic food wrap. Wrap; refrigerate 4 hours, until firm.
  3. Heat oven to 400°F.
  4. Cut roll into 1/4-inch slices with sharp knife. Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle tops lightly with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately remove to cooling racks; cool slightly. These wafers are best when served while slightly warm.

Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated for 1 week or frozen up to 3 months.
